IS MY DATA SAFE?

 

At Lean, we value your privacy and security. In line with our Privacy Policy, we have access to your transactions on a "read-only" basis. We also don't store your entire banking data, but only your subscription payments. Anything stored is encrypted with 256-bit encryption, so that in the case of a data breach, your subscription information is safe. 

 

DOES LEAN DO THE CANCELLING?

 

No, we are not legally entitled to cancel subscriptions on your behalf. Instead, we find every subscription and service to provide you with the necessary cancel links and information to make the process as smooth as possible. 

 

WHAT IS OPEN BANKING?

 

Open banking allows users to connect to their banking data through third party services (such as Lean). It aims to provide additional financial products and services that regular banks do not provide. It comes as part of the PSD2 regulation, established in 2015, which states that users are the legal owners of their bank data, not banks. ​

 

WHAT IF I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE APP?

CAN I USE LEAN ON MORE THAN ONE ACCOUNT?

 

Yes! You can use Lean for free on one bank account. To add more accounts, simply add extra uses through our in-app purchases.
